A monitor is an output device that monitors information and data stored on a computer. A device that can display images and text. Used to view information that the user wants (eg movies, videos).

Monitor types

There are five types of monitors. These include CRT (Cathode Ray Tube), LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), LED (Light Emitting Diode), OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) and Plasma Monitor.LCD and LED are now the most commonly used. TV on a monitor; Circuits, Casing and Power Supply. In the past, monitors were used behind a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitor with a display called a Gas Plasma.
